4 reset signal
сигнал сброса, сигнал Resetспециальный сигнал, подаваемый с помощью кнопки перезагрузки системы (manual reset) и вызывающий сброс процессора (устройства) и перевод его в некоторое исходное известное состояние. Большинство ЦП по этому сигналу прекращают исполнение текущей машинной команды и выполняют внутренний рестарт, однако многие микроконтроллеры исполняют её полностью и осуществляют ряд дополнительных действий. Сигнал reset автоматически активируется также при включении питания (initial power-on), это называется power-on reset, или reset signal mode - процессор ожидает, пока блок питания не войдёт в рабочий режим. Сигнал сброса может возникнуть также при попытке выполнить команду по несуществующему или недопустимому адресу и из-за аппаратных сбоев (тогда называется unexpected reset - неожидаемый сброс)Англо-русский толковый словарь терминов и сокращений по ВТ, Интернету и программированию. > reset signal

возврат в начальное положение (устройства срочного останова)
Ручное действие, позволяющее системе управления вернуть устройство срочного останова в положение покоя, после того как оно было переведено в действующее положение.
Примечание — Примерами возврата в начальное положение являются вращение ключа, вращение или оттягивание органа управления, или нажатие специальной взводной кнопки.
